We hold our Gymanfa Ganu on the 3rd Sunday in October at 2:30 pm at Central College Chapel located at 975 South Sunbury Road, Westerville, Ohio;


The Gymanfa Ganu is a traditional gathering for hymn singing.
The WSCO Gymanfa Ganu features special music performed by a soloist or choir and is followed by a complimentary Te Bach (little tea) which features Welsh tea cakes accompanied by, of course, tea, along with coffee and punch.

"Loaner" songbooks are available for use during the Gymanfa.

Corbin 
Wisconsin, School of Music, where he
studied vocal performance. He earned
a B.A. in Music from the University of
Dubuque and a Master of Divinity
degree from The University of
Dubuque Theological Seminary,
Dubuque, Iowa. Joe is well-known for

directing Cymanfoedd Canu and St. David’s
Day festivities throughout Wisconsin,
Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio, Colorado,
Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. He has
also helped lead many of the late-night
informal singing sessions at NAFOW
gatherings. Joe and his wife Kim have two
grown children and five grandchildren.

Joe and Kim have been ​active in theater and

musical theater, acting and directing. Joe has been
active in various vocal performing
groups. 


Special Music - James Hildreth
We welcome back organist James
Hildreth, who is in his 24th year of
playing for WSCO’s Gymanfas. Jim
has been organist for the Broad Street
Presbyterian Church in Columbus
since 1987 and has been organist of
the Columbus Symphony Orchestra
since 1988. Jim teaches organ
privately and at Ohio WesleyanUniversity.

An active member of the
American Guild of Organists, he has
served as a judge and coordinator of
local and regional AGO competitions,
is on the Executive Committee of the Columbus Chapter, and has reviewed
recordings for their journal, The American Organist. Jim and his wife,
flutist Valorie Adams-Hildreth, perform together as Duo Celeste.
Special Music - Valorie Adams Hildreth
Valorie discovered her passion for flute at age ten. She participated in the

Columbus Cadet and Youth Orchestras, winning first place in the
Columbus Symphony High School Division Competition her senior
year. Valorie earned her Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance
from the Eastman School of Music and her Master of Music degree in
flute performance at Duquesne University. Her teachers included
Bonita Boyd and Bernard Z.Goldberg. Advanced masterclasses with Jean-Pierre Rampal, James Galway, Walfrid Kujala, Sam Baron, Marcel Moyse, and William Bennett have continued to inspire her.
Valorie teaches private flute lessons and is a freelance flutist in Columbus, performing with area musicians.
