Columbus Welsh Singing Society

Seeking Piano Accompanist

Do you or someone you know play the piano?  If so, wouldn't you love to play for a nice, casual, friendly Welsh choir?

The Columbus Welsh Singing Society has a director but is seeking a new accompanist.

As much as our current accompanist loves playing with us (and as much as we love him!), he's notified us that we need to start a search for a replacement.  We usually rehearse on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at the Worthington United Methodist Church from 7PM to 8:30PM.

Performances vary, but we generally perform at most WSCO annual events (St. David's Day, Summer Picnic, Autumn Gymanfa Ganu), along with occasional invitations to sing at a variety of other events.

This is a volunteer position.

If this sounds like something you or someone you know may be interested in pursuing, please contact Laura Jenkins Gorun at info(at)welshsocietyofcentralohio(dot)org for additional details, or leave a voice message at the Welsh Society of Central Ohio’s Information Line – (614) 470-4999.

CWSS Rehearsals on Hiatus

After February, rehearsals will be on hiatus while the CWSS looks for a new accompanist.  If you are interested in joining this singing group, be sure to let Laura Jenkins Gorun know so you will be on the contact list when rehearsals resume.

Email – info(at)welshsocietyofcentralohio(dot)org or leave a voice message at WSCO’s Information Line – (614) 470-4999.
