Columbus Welsh Singing Society    by Ann Gillard, WSCO member and CWSS director

In December, 2009 I fell and fractured three vertebrae in my back. As a result I have been pretty much incapacitated for the past four months. I am getting better and hopefully will soon be well.

In spite of the fact that I was unable to direct the chorus, they had the usual practices and performed a great St. David's Day program. John Davids took charge and held the group together and Leslie Twigg directed beautifully. I am so appreciative to both of them for doing my job when I couldn't. I'm also grateful to all of the chorus members. What a talented and dedicated group of people.

The chorus performed a program in Radnor, OH, on Saturday, March 6th in celebration of St. David's Day. I heard rave reviews about the program and I understand they had the largest attendance ever for the luncheon.

We will be singing at the WSCO picnic and hope everyone will join us in singing some of our favorites.

Remember, we always welcome new members.  If you are interested in joining us for some Welsh singing, please call me at (614) 885-8806 or Email j-gillard(at)sbcglobal(dot)net.
