Welsh Country Dancers of Central Ohio

Donna Boyce

The Welsh folk dance troupe is scheduled to perform at the 175th Anniversary Celebration of the town of Bremen, Ohio, on Saturday September 26th at 1:45.  Bremen is located on Rt. 37 a little bit east of Lancaster, so come on out and see your dancers!

Regular dance classes meet September through November and February through May, 1st & 3rd Wednesday nights, 7:30-9:30, at the Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 15 Clinton Heights Ave. in the Clintonville area of Columbus.  The church is on the east side of N. High St. just one block south of North Broadway.

If you’re “not sure” about Welsh folk dancing and don’t want to spend two hours in a class but you’d like to try it, here is your chance!  Wednesday, Sept. 30 we’ll be co-hosting one of our “5th Wednesday” evenings when we get together with the Wednesday night Scottish Country Dancers for a snack potluck and easy social dances.

If you’re planning on joining us, call or email to find out how to enter the building or look on our website for more information.

Visit http://www.welshcountrydancers.org  where you will find lots of information about Wales and being Welsh – it’s not just a “dance” site!
