On August 9 our chorus presented a concert at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Our performance was well received by a large audience. We sang a combination of Welsh folk songs and hymns and we taught the audience to sing Pen Y Bryn and Mochyn Du in Welsh with us.
The Gymanfa in southern Ohio will be held on September 27, 2009, at Tyn Rhos Church near Rio Grande. Several chorus members will be attending and we certainly recommend it as a very enjoyable day. The morning session is 10:30AM, lunch at noon, afternoon session at 1:00PM.
Directions to Tyn Rhos from central Ohio:
Take route 35 South past Jackson to Rio Grande. Take Rt 325 exit right. Follow Rt 325 out of Rio Grande and turn right on Centerpoint road to Tyn Rhos - follow signs to church.
