The Welsh Society of Central Ohio (WSCO) is looking for a logo to support our organization. If you are creative on the computer and are good with graphic designing we want to hear from you!
All approved submissions will be on display at the St. David’s Day Luncheon on Saturday, February 28, 2009. Currently registered WSCO members will be able to vote for your favorite logo near the registration table up until 15 minutes before the beginning of lunch. The winning artist and logo will be announced by the end of the meal.
Of course we have rules for these things so the following criteria must be followed in order for submitted logos to be accepted for judging:
v Any currently registered WSCO member can submit as many designs as you want;
v The logo should include a graphic that supports a Welsh theme, such as the red dragon;
v The words “Welsh Society of Central Ohio” and “Founded 1948” need to be included;
v The logo must be camera ready and submitted electronically in black and white as well as in color (up to three colors can be used);
v The graphics and wording have to fit within a 2 1/2 “ circle;
v Should be able to be reproducible for use on all WSCO-related correspondence and items such as the website, brochures, flyers, Dragon Tales, clothing items, and give-aways.
How to submit your logo
v The deadline for submission is Saturday, February 21, 2009.
v Your submission needs to include the artist’s full name, address, and phone number.
v Submissions should be sent electronically to WSCO Board Member and Vice President Beth Ransopher at 0051erans(at)msn(dot)com.

All submissions become the property of the Welsh Society of Central Ohio and will not be returned. Upon submission you are granting permission for WSCO to use the logo for the intended purposes of the organization should it be selected as the winner.
