The CWSS has started working on music for Christmas. We will be performing several concerts during November and December (dates and locations not confirmed at this time).
We sang at Kensington Place on July 29th and our performance was really enjoyed by our audience. One sweet little lady was especially happy to hear us. She was born in Wales and had come to this country as a child. She sang along with us on many songs. She requested we sing “Men of Harlech,” which we did – to her delight.
We were honored to sing at Joe Speakman’s funeral on September 3 and our deepest sympathy goes to Peggy and her family.
If anyone would like to join our group and learn some Welsh Christmas songs, we welcome you. We meet on the first and third Tuesday evenings from 7:00 until 8:30 pm at the Worthington Methodist Church, 600 N. High St., Worthington, Ohio; 3rd floor.
