The 2006 te bach after the gymanfa was, again, a successful event, and it wouldn’t have been so great without all the dedicated volunteers who helped make it happen.
-Our wonderful Myron Cherry kept us coordinated with the church, ordered the flowers, and helped with setting up and tearing down
-Tray prep and room setup were accomplished by Diana Wafe; Tegwyn Lantz; Carole Edwards Haley; Janice Davis and friend; Laura Cherry; Joan Bash; and Laura Thomas who wrestled the coffee maker into compliance
-Laura Thomas and Barb Perry worked at the beverage table and Barb ran back and forth with punch bowl refills while Laura Cherry and Diana Wafe helped keep the goodies trays replenished
-You know that ace sandwich-makers Joan Bash, Helen Davis, and Pam Jones were “stars” again this year since all those sandwiches disappeared!
-Janice Davis and her friend prepared punch during the te bach and started the kitchen washing-up process, and Pam and Evan Jones finished it
-Ambiance was provided by Tegwyn’s slides of Wales, and using Welsh dolls as the table decorations was Pam Jones’s excellent idea
-and I lost track of all the people who helped with cleaning up Ballard Hall
To all of you who brought food -- Diolch yn fawr! Thank you very much! – it wouldn’t have been a success without you.
I’m sure I may have missed naming some folks, but your help was appreciated. ------Donna Boyce
